How to begin golfing?

Do you want to play golf? But you don’t know how to begin it? Some golfing tips for totally beginners:

You may do:

  1. Looking at some golf event on TV or Internet
  2. Looking at some golf training video on the Internet (e.g. YouTube)
  3. Reading about the rules of the game of golf on Internet
  4. Reading golf forums and blogs on Internet for good golfing tips
  5. Collecting informations about golf clubs

You shouldn’t do:

  1. Don’t buy golf equipments!
  2. Don’t buy expensive golf clothes and shoes!
  3. Don’t buy training DVDs!
  4. Don’t exercise training videos!

You should do:

  1. Find a golf course or driving range around you
  2. Make a contact with the golf club of the course
  3. Speak with the teaching pro of the club
  4. Take lessons from the pro
  5. Practise on ranges (driving range, putting green, pitching green, etc.)
  6. Look at training videos, DVDs, and practise at home
